Continuing Education

Most of the time, continuing ed falls under the category “boring but important.” Well, that’s because, most of the time, the classes are boring (not ours!) - but they are important!

With more than a dozen courses, HLF attorneys keep everyone in the real estate community up to date. We can arrange classes to coincide with local Association events, or, in some instances, hold a class at a client's office. These classes are all part of our risk management service to clients.

Most of our DRE approved courses are the mandatory, 3 hour, ones. However, we've learned from our clients that 1 hour courses are often preferred. They're more "bite size." And, more topical. So, we've designed several 1 hour "Learn @ Lunch" Risk Management Seminars. These are courses on "hot topics" like REO Listings and Short Sales.

For our clients, or for Real Estate Risk Management, Inc. subscribers (www.RERM.com), access to the private-access-only portion of the Web site, we've made these 1 hour courses available in on-line streaming video. DRE credits can only be given at "live" presentations, but the material is just as valuable, even without "credits."

In addition, we are pleased to announce our relationship with The California Real Estate Academy with whom we will be co-developing courses.
