Christopher Hanson, the founder of Hanson Law Firm, has 30 years of experience in real estate brokerage, title insurance, and law. Mr. Hanson is a broker-lawyer, for brokers.
Mr. Hanson began his real estate career with Western Title Insurance Company, serving for many years as an advisory title officer. In 1978, Mr. Hanson received his California real estate agent's license, and two years later, his broker's license.
In 1993, Mr. Hanson was awarded the nationally recognized CCIM designation by the Commercial Investment Real Estate Institute.
In June 1997, Mr. Hanson was admitted to practice law in California and founded Hanson Law Firm.
Mr. Hanson"s current and past Board of Directors experience includes the Alameda, Sacramento and California Bar Association Real Property and Trial, Sections; and the Alameda, Sacramento, California and National Associations of Realtors. He has also served on both of the Department of Real Estate's special committees to review and audit the salesman's and broker's licenses since 2001.
Mr. Hanson is a frequent lecturer on best practices for real estate risk management, title insurance and other topics. He is currently an instructor for more than a dozen DRE or State Bar approved continuing education courses.
